Radiation dermatitis is one of the most common side effects of radiotherapy and its acute manifestations include skin erythema,edema,desquamation,ulceration accompanied by burning pain,itching and so on.For breast cancer patients,it not only reduces the quality of life,but also slows down the process of treatment and affects the survival prognosis.Acute radiation dermatitis is not only treated with any effective drugs,but traditional Chinese medicine has been widely used in the clinical practice due to the advantages of precise efficacy,simplicity and economy.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine,the symptoms and etiology of acute radiation dermatitis and oral ulcers are similar.This article aims to summarize the experience of Qingchuikou ointment in the treatment of acute radiation dermatitis of breast cancer based on the theory of'homotherapy for heteropathy'to provide a new therapeutic idea for further treatment.
