Correlation Between Differential Expression Levels of CCL11 in Herpetiform Aspergillosis and Chinese Medicine Syndrome
Objective To investigate the differences in the levels of Eotaxin-1 in skin lesions between different traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes in herpetiform aspergillosis by measuring the levels of Eotaxin-1 in skin lesions of patients with herpetiform aspergillosis, and to provide valuable molecular targets for the identification and staging of bullous pemphigoid. Methods A total of 65 patients with bullous pemphigoid and 24 healthy people with cosmetic needs from January 2019 to January 2021 in the Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Academy of Chinese Medicine were included as control group,Immunohistochemical staining of CCL11 in lesion tissues was performed by immunoblotting, and the mean optical density values of positive expression areas were quantified by applying Image-proPlus 6.0 image analysis software.SPSS26.0 statistical software was applied to analyze the statistical differences of CCL11 between different TCM evidence and healthy control groups. Results The mean values of CCL11 expression AOD in skin lesions were 0.34±0.12,0.29±0.13,and 0.25±0.12 for heat toxin,dampness-heat,and spleen deficiency, respectively, which were statistically different from those of healthy controls(0.09±0.09),with statistical differences between the two groups for heat toxin and spleen deficiency(P=0.042),and no statistical differences between the rest of the evidence. Conclusion The CCL11 expression levels in skin lesions were in the order of heat toxicity, damp heat and spleen deficiency among different TCM evidence elements, and the CCL11 expression levels of heat toxicity evidence elements and spleen deficiency evidence elements were statistically different.
