Atopic dermatitis(AD)is one of the most common chronic and refractory skin diseases in dermatology,and continuous and repeated pruritus is the most prominent clinical manifestation of AD.According to the continuous inheritance and development of clinical practice,the Yenching Zhao School of Dermatology has formed a perfect theoretical system and syndrome differentiation ideas for AD pruritus.According to the theory of"harmonization of water and fire",it is proposed that the lack of kidney essence is the core factor of AD pruritis,and the heart and spleen disorder is an important cause of pruritis,the root cause is the imbalance of yin and yang.Based on this,the corresponding treatment ideas of diagnosis and treatment were formed.
