Radiomics adopts a combination of medical and industrial approaches to transform traditional images into high-dimensional and deep digital quantitative features, and to mine the potential biomarkers and heterogeneity of the images.Malignant tumors of the digestive system have high morbidity and mortality rates in China. In recent years, driven by the development of artificial intelligence and the era of big data, the application of PET radiomics has been developing rapidly and has achieved some promising research results in the diagnosis, differentiation, efficacy, and prognostic assessment of digestive tumors, and has progressed toward noninvasive precision medical analysis. This article reviews the progress of PET radiomics in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system tumors, and analyzes the challenges and prospects.
