Optimization of Deep Eutectic Solvents Extraction of Total Flavonoids from Dichondra Repens by Box-Behnken Response Surface Methodology
Objective To optimize the process of deep eutectic solvents extraction of total flavonoids from Dichondra repens. Methods With the molar ratio, water content, ultrasound power, and ultrasound time of deep eutectic solvent system as single factor variables, and with the extraction rate of flavonoids in Dichondra repens as the evaluation index, the extraction process of the total flavonoid was optimized by the Box-Behnken response surface methodology, and the validation test was conducted. Results The optimal extraction process was as follows:the deep eutectic solvent was choline chloride-lactic acid(molar ratio of 1∶2),with the water content of 70%,and ultrasonic extraction(power of 180 W)for 30 min.The validation test results showed that the relative error between the total flavonoid extraction rate under these conditions and the predicted value of the regression model was 0.55%.Conclusion The optimal process is easy to operate and has good repeatability, which can be used for the extraction of total flavonoids from Dichondra repens.
