Clinical Observation of Bushen Huoxue Formula Combined with Prednisone in the Treatment of Severe Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy Based on the Theory of State-Target Syndrome Differentiation
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Bushen Huoxue Formula combined with prednisone in the treatment of severe immunoglobulin A(IgA)nephropathy based on the theory of state-target syndrome differentiation.Methods A total of 98 patients with severe IgA nephropathy admitted to the People's Hospital of Luanzhou from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method,with 49 cases in each group.The patients in the two groups were given conventional basic treatment and Prednisone Acetate Tablets orally,on this basis,the patients in the observation group were given Bushen Huoxue Formula based on the theory of state-target syndrome differentiation.Both groups were treated continuously for three courses with 30 d as a course.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 91.84%,which was significantly higher than 73.47%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes(including systemic swelling,poor urination,fatigue,weakness,pale tongue with whitish coating)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group;the 24-hour urine protein(24 hUP),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and serum creatinine(SCr)levels were significantly lower than those in the control group;the serum albumin(Alb)level was significantly higher than that in the control group;and the serum aquaporin 3(AQP3),peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α(PPAR-α),kidney injury molecule-1(KIM-1)levels were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was similar to that in the control group(14.29%vs.10.20%,P>0.05).Conclusion Bushen Huoxue Formula combined with prednisone in the treatment of severe IgA nephropathy based on the theory of state-target syndrome differentiation can improve the main TCM syndromes and renal function indexes of patients,and reduce the level of inflammatory factors.
