Usage of Class Ⅱ Psychotropic Drugs in a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from 2018 to 2022
Objective To promote the rational use of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals.Methods The sales data of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs in the Wuhu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from 2018 to 2022 were collected from the hospital information system to analyze the defined daily dose system(DDDs),defined daily cost(DDC),and ranking ratio(B/A).A total of 150 outpatient and emergency prescriptions per year and 50 medical orders per year for class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs were selected to conduct prescription review according to the drug inserts,relevant guidelines,and expert consensus.Results In 2020,the consumption sum of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs was the highest,accounting for 1.86%of the total consumption sum of drugs in the hospital.The consumption sum of Dizosin Injection,Tramadol Hydrochloride Sustained-Release Tablets,and Midazolam Injection ranked in the top three.The DDDs of Alprazolam Tablets,Eszolam Tablets,and Dezosin Injection ranked in the top three.The DDC of Alprazolam Tablets was the lowest.The B/A of Dizosin Injection was in the range of 0.33-1.00.A total of 1 000 prescriptions/medical orders were collected,including 709 rational prescriptions and 228 rational medical orders,with a rational rate of 93.70%,and the irrational types included non-standard and unsuitable medication.Conclusion The use of classⅡ psychotropic drugs in the hospital from 2018 to 2022 is unreasonable,and it is necessary to continue to strengthen the management and monitoring of classⅡ psychotropic drugs to ensure the safety and rationality of clinical medication.
