Improvement on Reporting of Adverse Drug Reactions in a Hospital
Objective To provide a referencce for establishing a management mode for the reporting of adverse drug reactions(ADRs)in hospitals.Methods The data of ADR reporting of the Medical Center Hospital of Qionglai in 2016 were collected,the first and second rounds of reporting(January 2017 to December 2019,January 2020 to December 2022)were improved by the quality management tool and trigger management tool respectively.The effects after improvement were analyzed.Results A total of 125 cases of ADRs were reported in the hospital in 2016,which increased to 163,236,149 cases from 2017 to 2019 respectively.The proportions of new + serious ADRs and serious ADRs reported in 2016 were 31.20%and 8.80%respectively,which significantly increased to 74.65%and 57.94%in 2022 respectively.Conclusion The use of quality management tool and trigger management tool can promote the quantity and quality of ADR reporting in hospitals.
