Objective To screen the pesticide residues in Xiao'er Magan Granules, and to evaluate the safety risks of pesticide residues in Xiao'er Magan Granules. Methods Based on the high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS)method and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(GC-MS/MS)method,the residues of 33 prohibited pesticides and 17 restricted pesticides in the preparation of Xiao'er Magan Granules and its raw herbal materials were determined by the pre-treatment method of acetonitrile homogenization extraction/dispersion solid-phase extraction(dSPE)/HLB column purification. Results No prohibited pesticide residue was detected from Xiao'er Magan Granules.Residual pesticide imidacloprid was detected in eight batches of samples from four manufacturers, with the content of 0.002-0.019 mg/kg,which was far below the safety limit of 60 mg/kg.Conclusion The safety of Xiao'er Magan Granules is good, but the residual risk of the pesticide imidacloprid needs to be controlled.
