Effect of Xingpi Yang'er Granules Combined with Manual Massage on Defecation and Serum Motilin and Gastrin in Children with Diarrhea
Objective To investigate the effect of Xingpi Yang'er Granules combined with manual massage on defecation and serum motilin and gastrin in children with diarrhea.Methods A total of 100 children with diarrhea from January to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the study group,with 50 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with Xingpi Yang'er Granules,while the patients in the study group were treated with manual massage based on the control group.Both groups were treated for 10 d.Results The total effective rate in the study group was 94.00%,which was significantly higher than 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time of fecal characteristics and the disappearance time of diarrhea in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,serum motilin,and gastrin contents in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was comparable to that in the control group(14.00%vs.10.00%,P>0.05).Conclusion Xingpi Yang'er Granules combined with manual massage have obvious efficacy and safety in the treatment of children with diarrhea,which can significantly improve the defecation status and gastrointestinal function of the children.
