Bibliometric Analysis of Shortage Drugs at Home and Abroad
Objective To provide a reference for the regulation of shortage drugs in China.Methods The relevant studies on the research status of shortage drugs at home and abroad in the databases such as CNKI,WanFang,VIP and Web of Science were searched and imported into the CiteSpace 6.2 software for visualization analysis,the research status and development trend of shortage drug regulation at home and abroad were compared.Results A total of 3081 studies were obtained,of which 553 were in Chinese and 2528 were in English.The quantity of publications was larger from 2019 to 2020(for Chinese studies)and from 2020 to 2022(for English studies),with a more obvious growth in Chinese studies.Fang Yu,Yang Shimin,Yang Caijun and so on were the core authors,while the China Pharmaceutical University was the most productive institution(21 studies)in China.FOX and ATALA were the foreign authors publishing most studies(11 studies),while Massachusetts Gen Hosp and Harvard Med Sch were the most productive foreign institutions(36 studies).The cooperative networks of domestic and foreign authors with research institutions were relatively scattered,with universities and institutes being the main research institutions.The keyword clusters such as shortage drugs,drug shortage,and supply guarantee(Chinese)were formed in domestic relevent researches,while those such as regenerative medicine,tissue engineering and machine learning were formed in foreign relevent researches.The supply guarantee of shortage drugs is currently a research focus in this field.Conclusion Currently,there is a good development trend in researches related to the shortage drugs in China.Based on China's national conditions and foreign regulation for shortage drugs,we should pay attention to quantitative analysis,propose more comprehensive response strategies by economic theories to effectively solve the problems of drug shortage in China.
