Literature Analysis and Textual Research of Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder
Objective To provide a reference for the clinical application,research and development of Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder.Methods The relevant literature on Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder in the Chinese Medical Dictionary(The 5th Version)database,Traditional Chinese Medicine Ancient Books database in the National Medical Collection,Basic Ancient Chinese Medicine Books database(Central South University),Traditional Chinese Medicine Family official website,Traditional Chinese Medicine Encyclopedia official website and CNKI from January 1958 to December 2022 was searched.The ancient literature related to Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder was sorted out,and the key information of this formula was verified based on the modern clinical researches.Results and Conclusion A total of 84 relevant ancient literature was collected,involving 48 traditional Chinese medicine ancient books,of which 23 have detailed records of functions,indications,composition,dosage,processing,preparation and taking methods of the formula.There are three different names of formulas for Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder,including Fuzi Decoction,Baijiang Powder,Yiyi Fuzi Powder,which are composed of Coicis Semen,Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata and Herba Patriniae.According to ancient and modern dose conversion,there are 34.5 g of Coicis Semen,6.9 g of Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata and 17.25 g of Herba Patriniae in per dose of Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder.During the preparation of Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder,the stir-fried Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata,raw Coicis Semen and Herba Patriniae are used;adding 400 mL of water,decocting to 200 mL,and taking at draught.According to ancient books,this formula is mainly in the treatment of intestinal abscess,manifested by absence of body heat,squamous and dry skin,tense abdomen,spongy sensation upon palpation resembling swelling,feeling soft in the abdomen while pressing and rapid pulse.In modern research,Yiyi Fuzi Baijiang Powder is mainly used for inflammation and is widely used in diseases related to internal medicine,gynecology,pediatrics and other disciplines.
