An Evaluation Case of Expert Consensus on Temporary Procurement of Novel Antineoplastic Drugs Based on Rapid Drug Evaluation in the Yangtze River Delta Region
Objective To promote the further improvement of the Expert Consensus on Temporary Procurement of Novel Antineoplastic Drugs Based on Rapid Drug Evaluation in the Yangtze River Delta Region(hereinafter referred to as the Consensus),and to enhance the management level of temporary procurement of new antineoplastic drugs in medical institutions.Methods The rapid evaluation method for temporary procurement of drugs in the Consensus was interpreted,and an evaluation case was conducted on the temporary procurement of carfilzomib.Results The Consensus evaluated temporary procurement of drugs from six dimensions:the necessity of temporary procurement,the effectiveness,safety,economy,innovation,and other properties of drugs.The comprehensive score of the rapid evaluation of the temporarily purchased carfilzomib for the patient was 72 points,which had advantages in effectiveness and economy compared to similar alternative drugs such as ixazomib,and it was necessary to conduct temporary purchases.Finally,the pharmaceutical evaluation recommended procurement.Conclusion The Consensus has promoted the improvement of temporary procurement management level for novel antineoplastic drugs.
