Efficacy of Sanhan Huoxue Qubai Recipe Combined with Medicinal Line Moxibustion in the Treatment of Vitiligo and Analysis of Skin Repigmentation Patterns
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Sanhan Huoxue Qubai Recipe combined with medicinal line moxibustion in the treatment of vitiligo,and its effect on the skin repigmentation patterns of skin lesions.Methods A total of 130 adult patients with vitiligo admitted to the hospital from May 2022 to December 2023 were selected and divided into the combined group and the control group by the random number table method,with 65 cases in each group.The patients in the two groups were given the oral administration of Sanhan Huoxue Qubai Recipe and external application of Sanhan Huoxue Qubai Tincture,on this basis,the patients in the combined group were treated with medicinal line moxibustion.Both groups were treated for 12 weeks.Results The total effective rate in the combined group was 74.60％,which was significantly higher than 52.38％in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the vitiligo area score index(VASI),dermatology quality of life index questionnaire(DLQI)score,and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores in the two groups significantly decreased(P＜0.05),and those in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05);the percentage of regulatory T lymphocytes(Treg)to CD4+T lymphocytes in the two groups significantly increased(P＜0.05),while the percentage of Th17 cells to CD4+T lymphocytes and the levels of interleukin-17 and transforming growth factor-β in the two groups significantly decreased(P＜0.05),and those in the combined group were significantly better than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The proportion of edge type,dot type,homogeneous type,and mixed color patterns in the combined group and the control group was comparable(37.10％vs.44.17％,19.35％vs.18.33％,14.52％vs.12.50％,29.03％vs.25.00％,P＞0.05),and the incidence of adverse reactions in the combined group and the control group was comparable(3.17％vs.4.76％,P＞0.05).Conclusion Sanhan Huoxue Qubai Recipe combined with medicinal line moxibustion has good clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of vitiligo,which can improve patients'skin white spots,alleviate TCM symptoms,and improve their quality of life.
