Objective To improve the quality of prescription circulation in Internet hospitals.Methods Current development of prescription circulation in Internet hospitals in China was analyzed by the SWOT analysis,and development strategies were proposed accordingly.Results The prescription circulation based on the strong support of national policies significantly improved the pharmaceutical care efficiency of Internet hospitals and patients'medical experience.However,the prescription circulation of Internet hospitals still faced problems currently such as weak acceptance capacity of social pharmacies,lack of unified construction standards of circulation platforms,and vulnerabilities in information and data security.Conclusion It is suggested to issue supporting laws and regulations as soon as possible,establish and improve prescription circulation management norms,construct a prescription circulation platform dominated by the government and medical institutions,and strengthen the professional capacity building of pharmacists to ensure the smooth progress of prescription circulation,improve the quality of prescriptions and"Internet+pharmaceutical care".
