Determination of Proanthocyanidins in Shilijian Chewable Tablets by HPLC
Objective:The content of oanthocyanidins in shilijian chewable tablets was determined by HPLC.Methods:The determination was carried out with C18 column (5 μm; 150mm × 4.6mm) with the mobile phase of 8% acetonitrile and 92% water. The column temperature, flow rate and detection wavelength were 25℃, 1 ml/min and 280 nm respectively. Results:There was a good linear relationship between absorption and proanthocyanidins content within the range of (0.32~2.56) mg/mL. Recovery rate and RSD of the method were of 98.71 % and 0.76%.Conclusion:This method is simple, fast, accurate and reliable to be suitable for etermination of proanthocyanidins content in Shilijian Chewable Tablets.
