Colorectal cancer is a common gastrointestinal tumor,and its pathogenesis is often accompanied by inflammation.The per-sistence of inflammation provides a suitable environment for tumor growth.The inflammatory microenvironment mainly consists of immune cells,inflammatory factors,stromal cells and extracellular matrix,which leads to the imbalance of immune response and immu-nosuppression,infinite proliferation of tumor cells,inhibition of apoptosis,and increase of new blood vessels.STAT3 and NF-κB signal-ing molecules related to inflammatory pathways,and inflammatory factors TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6,these key molecular interactions are closely related to tumor invasion and metastasis.Targeting key cells and factors mediating inflammation has become a new therapeutic strategy for cancer.Traditional Chinese medicine is characterized by multiple components and multiple targets.The molecular mecha-nism of many commonly used tradition Chinese compound medicine in clinical practice is to regulate the level of microenvironmental inflammatory factors,inhibit the signaling pathway of tumor promotion,alleviate the inflammatory damage of intestinal mucosa,and improve the body's immune function.Through the analysis of inflammation microenvironment and anti-cancer mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine,we hope to provide reference for the treatment of colorectal cancer with traditional Chinese medicine.
