Research Progress on Assessment Tools for Ambulatory Surgery Patient-Reported Outcomes
Objective:To systematically review the existing ambulatory surgery patient-reported outcomes(PROs)assessment tools and their application status,to provide references for the promotion and application of PROs assessment tools and related studies in the future. Methods:The relevant English databases were systematically retrieved, and the research literature related to day surgery PROs were included.Literature screening and data extraction were conducted independently by two researchers. Results:A total of 14 relevant studies were included, involving 4 relevant PROs scales, including Functional Recovery Index(FRI),Quality of recovery-9(QoR-9),and Quality of Recovery-40(QoR-40),Quality of Recovery-15(QoR-15).Among the existing assessment tools,QoR-15 scale is the most widely used, mainly for the evaluation of postoperative recovery quality of patients, which has good validity and acceptability, and has potential advantage in the evaluation of future ambulator surgery. Conclusion:At present, there are relatively few assessment tools for PROs related to ambulatory surgery, there is a lack of attention to PROs in China, and there is a lack of specific assessment tools. Therefore,in the future,PROs assessment tools for ambulatory surgery should be developed, and multi-center,large-sample studies should be conducted to verify and promote it.Meanwhile, strengthening the training of medical staff will help the effective promotion and application of PROs assessment tools, and to help doctors and nurses to carry out symptom management for day operation patients,effec-tively evaluate patients'recovery quality, improve patients'satisfaction, and promote doctor-patient joint decision-making.
