Drug centralized procurement policy is an important measure to synergistically advance the reform of the supply side of medical services,and plays a significant role in enhancing people's well-being,promoting the reform of the integration of medical ser-vices,and facilitating the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry.Centralized procurement refers to the procurement model in which multiple enterprises jointly purchase the same commodity or service along the supply chain to reduce procurement costs and enhance procurement efficiency.This approach can not only save procurement costs for enterprises but also help them mitigate supply chain risks and improve the transparency and controllability of the supply chain.Based on the progress of the centralized procurement model constructed by Sinopharm Healthcare Corporation,combined with the practical application of centralized procurement(including pharmaceutical procurement,consumables and reagent procurement,and equipment procurement)in the group operation of medical institutions,this study summarizes the effectiveness and advantages of centralized procurement,analyzes the role of centralized procure-ment in reducing procurement costs,enhancing procurement efficiency,preventing corruption risks,and promoting the high-quality development of affiliated medical institutions.It is demonstrated that under the guidance of national policies and reforms,state-owned enterprises conducting group operation of medical institutions can fully leverage the advantages of conglomerate management,enterprise operation,and professional development to promote medical services sinking to primary units,and highlight the role of state-owned enter-prises in assuming political,social,and economic responsibilities.
