Analysis of Cosmetic Adverse Reactions of College Students in Guangdong Province in 2023
Objective:To understand the occurrence and epidemic characteristics of cosmetic adverse reactions among college stu-dents in Guangdong province,and to provide reference for the science popularization education and innovative development of cosmetic adverse reaction monitoring.Methods:The research project"Construction and Practice of Social Service System for Monitoring Cosmetic Adverse Reactions among College Students in Guangzhou University Town"was carried out.The sentinel points of colleges and universi-ties for monitoring cosmetic adverse reactions was established,and science popularization education was carried out.The monitoring data of adverse cosmetic reactions among college students in Guangdong province in 2023 were collected and reported,and Excel 2019 soft-ware was used for classified statistical analysis.Results:Among the 2263 cosmetics adverse reaction reports collected by this project in 2023,adverse reactions were mostly reported in female(84.36%).The cosmetics involved were mainly ordinary cosmetics(82.50%),and the main source was online shopping(91.07%).The type of adverse reaction of the cosmetics was mainly cosmetic contact dermati-tis(90.50%).The collection of allergy history information and the standardization of monitoring reports of the adverse reaction occurred improved compared with previous years.Conclusion:Expanding the scope and objects of cosmetic adverse reaction monitoring,and widely carrying out science popularization related to cosmetic adverse reaction monitoring based on the improvement of consumers'safety awareness are conducive to improving the quantity and quality of cosmetic adverse reaction monitoring reports.In order to further improve the adverse reaction monitoring of cosmetics,relevant work should be carried out in such aspects as improving the participation rate of adverse reaction validation experiments,improving the professional quality of grass-roots monitoring personnel,optimizing the reporting form and broadening the reporting channels.
