Objective To comparatively analyze public hospital salary incentive at home and abroad to provide recommendations for salary system reform.Method Literature review and comprehensive analysis were used,and the salary distribution,salary determination method,incentive method of public hospitals abroad were analyzed.And optimization suggestions of public hospital salary incentive in China were gained.Result Most countries and regions have formed stable salary incentive system with clear criteria and salary levels are not affected by the business income.The salary structure is mixed,in addition to the basic salary,various allowances,regular bonuses,overtime costs and other forms of remuneration increase the attractiveness of the work.Conclusion Through the improvement of the salary system design and evaluation system,salary levels are improved,the non-financial incentive factors are increased,various incentive compensation ways are adopted,and salary determinants are refined to perfect China's public hospital salary incentive system.
