Research on the Efficiency of Technological Innovation in Regional Hospitals Based on Boston Matrix Analysis
Objective Research the technological innovation efficiency of the regional hospitals through objective evaluation.Thereby promoting the construction of medical disciplines of the hospitals in Shenzhen and providing assistance for the hospitals to strive for the construction goal of National Regional Medical Center.Methods Based on index system of Chinese hospitals'Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics,67 hospitals were selected as research subjects.Analyze the development of technological innovation in the hospitals,and use the Boston matrix analysis method to reflect the efficiency of hospital technological innovation.Results There is a significant gap in the efficiency of technological innovation in the hospitals.6 hospitals have generated higher technological output with relatively low technological investment,and the efficiency of technological innovation is the best.13 hospitals have generated higher technological output with relatively high-tech inputs,demonstrating good efficiency in technological innovation.The technological output of these hospitals can still be further improved.1 hospital has high technological investment but low technological output,resulting in lower technological innovation efficiency.There is still significant room for improvement in the technological output of this hospitals.47 hospitals have relatively low investment and output in science and technology.These hospitals still need to make efforts in both technology investment and technology output dimensions.Conclusion To guide the production of high-quality medical technology achievements and improve the efficiency of hospital technology innovation,it is necessary to strengthen the investment level of hospital technology innovation based on the high-quality development level of the economy in different cities.To lead the output of high-quality medical science and technology results,and to enhance the efficiency of scientific and technological innovation in hospitals.
