An empirical study on factors influencing on-site transfer of labor force for Yangtze River retired fishermen
Based on the tracking survey data from the 2022"Ten Provinces,Hundred Counties,Thousand Households",this paper conducts an empirical analysis of the factors affecting the on-site transfer of fishermen's labor force, using the transfer mode as the dependent variable, and the four main categories of individual and family situations, labor transfer capital, objective conditions and subjective factors as independent variables. It is found that age and local per capita disposable income in rural areas have a positive impact on local transfer, while weekly working hours, distance from fishing villages to county center, annual net family income in the previous year, and the usefulness of fishing experience to current work have a negative impact on the transfer of fishermen's labor force to local areas. In this regard,it is proposed to increase employment assistance, improve employment subsidies, and develop local special industries and other policy recommendations,so as to promote the reasonable and effective on-site transfer of fishermen's labor force.
