The large surface fisheries have multiple functions,and plays an important role in ensuring the stable supply of high-quality aquatic products and the construction of ecological civilization.Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China,China's large surface fishery has experienced four stages and it has entered a new development period of exploring ecological fishery.While achieving remarkable results,China's large surface fishery is also facing challenges such as cognitive bias,weak scientific and technological support,insufficient development of tertiary integration,and difficult in protecting the rights and interests of fishermen.Therefore,it is proposed to improve ecological cognition to realize scientific management of large surface fishery,strengthen scientific and technological leadership to realize scientific empowerment of large surface fishery,enhance endogenous impetus to realize the deep integration of the three sectors of large surface fishery,and protect the rights and interests of fishermen to realize the sharing of ecological dividends of large surface fisheries.
