Research progress on the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of opioid addiction
Addiction is a chronic recurrent encephalopathy.Acupuncture can promote the recovery of physiological and psychological functions in patients with addiction.Compared with currently available drug interventions,acupuncture has greater therapeutic potential without adverse side effects.Acupuncture treatment of addiction diseases has become a hot issue in the field of drug rehabilitation in recent years,but the exploration of its mechanism is still lack of systematic summary.Therefore,based on domestic and foreign studies and combined with a series of research work done by the authors'team in the direction of acupuncture treatment of addiction diseases,the authors summarized the research overview of the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of opioid addiction,and reviewed the mechanism of acupuncture treatment of opioid addiction.
