Comparative analysis of chemical components and pharmacological effects of fresh(dry)traditional Chinese medicine
The application of fresh Chinese medicine has always throughout the entire process of the origin and development of traditional Chinese medicine in China.Especially in the treatment of acute syndrome,superficial syndrome and heat syndrome,it has significant therapeutic effects.Since ancient times,there have been many recorded functions of fresh medicine,which can be divided into four properties and five flavors,such as clearing away heat and detoxifying,expelling turbidity and avoiding summer heat,warming and nourishing,etc..However,the dry and fresh chinese medicinal herbs have a wide difference in efficacy.Modern medicine believes that fresh traditional Chinese medicine is directly picked from the place of origin,the natural polymer compounds in it remain well maintained,and do not undergo processes through high temperature or long time.Therefore,it is believed that fresh Chinese medicine has better therapeutic effects,and it is the true Chinese medicine.In recent decades,dried products have gradually replaced some fresh drugs,limiting clinical efficacy.The authors sorted out and compared the chemical composition and pharmacological effects of fresh and dried traditional Chinese medicine by organizing literature and materials related to fresh Chinese medicine both domestically and internationally in recent years,providing scientific basis for the clinical application and basic research of fresh Chinese medicine.
