Review of the objectification of traditional Chinese medicine tongue shape based on computer image technology
Tongue diagnosis is one of the important diagnostic methods in traditional Chinese medicine.By observing the change of tongue coating,we can know the depth of pathogenic factors and the rise and fall of pathogenic factors.Inspection of the tongue coating includes two aspects:Inspecting the coating and coating color.The coating on the tongue can be subdivided according to the texture and shape of the coating,mainly including thickness,moistening and dryness,greasy rot,peeling,partial completeness and true or false.Due to the influence of doctors'clinical experience and environmental factors,traditional tongue coating is not objective enough.Therefore,using computer image technology to extract and quantify the moss in tongue images is of great significance in the field of tongue diagnosis objectification.The paper reviewed the research progress of liverwort objectification in tongue diagnosis in recent 15 years at home and abroad,summarized the shortcomings of current research,and provided new ideas and strategies for future research on liverwort objectification in tongue diagnosis.
