Discussion on the academic thought of Lingnan physician HUANG Yan's Yixue Jingyao in Qing dynasty
Yixue Jingyao is the representative work of the famous doctor HUANG Yan in Lingnan in Qing dynasty.Its main academic ideas include:pay attention to the overall dialectical thinking method,clear analysis of yin and yang,distinguish deficiency and excess syndrome,and examine the Zang-fu organs,qi and blood;Inherit Huangdi Neijing and ZHANG Jingyue academic thought,emphasize the function of spleen and kidney;Accurate use of drugs and create a number of new traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions to cure diseases;advocates that the diagnosis and treatment of miscellaneous dise-ases,regardless of which clinicaldepartment,can be identified and treated together.This book imitated the style of Jingyue Quanshu in Ming dynasty,and its contents range from pediatric diseases,internal diseases,measles,pox,typhoid fever,gynecological diseases,etc..However,many previous bibliographic works had classified it as a pediatric medical work,and the authors believed that it should be classified as a comprehensive medical book of internal medicine,and its academic value needed to be further studied.
