Randomized controlled study on the treatment of insomnia by three parts Tuina based on qi regulation theory
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of the three parts Tuina for the treatment of insomnia based on the guidance of qi regulation theory.Methods:Seventy-two patients with insomnia were randomly divided into Tuina group and drug group, with 36 patients in each group.Clinical efficacy,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),fatigue scale-14(FS-14),hyperarousal scale(HAS)were evaluated before and after treatment in both groups. Results:There was no statistical difference in the total clinical efficacy between the Tuina group and drug group;the PSQI score,FS-14 score, and HAS score were better in both groups after treatment than before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment. Conclusion:The three parts Tuina based on the guidance of qi regulation theory can effectively treat insomnia and improve fatigue level and excessive wakefulness at the same time with a high safety level.
