The incidence of sleep disorders in the plateau is obviously higher than that in the plain population,which has an important adverse impact on the physical and mental health of people entering the plateau.Sleep disorders at high altitude is mainly in the heart,strongly related to lung,liver,spleen and kidney.The occurrence of short-term sleep disorders at high altitude is primarily caused by wind and cold attacking the lung syndrome,disturbing the mind and resulting in loss of support for the heart and deficiency of gallbladder and qi;middle-term sleep disorders at high altitude is mainly induced by plateau diet,leading to disorders of spleen and stomach,and poor dryness and dampness;long-term sleep disorders at high altitude is mostly imbalance between heart-yang and kidney-yin,saliva deficiency and blood stasis.This paper analyzed the etiology and pathogenesis of sleep disorder at high altitude,divided sleep disorder at high altitude into three stages:short,medium and long according to the time and pathogenesis,and gave dialectical treatment,which for providing basis for prevention and treatment of sleep disorders at high altitude with traditional Chinese medicine.
