Discussion on gynecological diseases and medication characteristics of Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica
The category distribution,taste,toxicity and application of 146 drugs for gynecological diseases in Shennongs Classic of Materia Medica were statistically analyzed.The distribution of the three products from high to low is medium,inferior and superior.The distribution of taste is mainly bitter and cold,pungent and warm,and more than half of the toxic drugs are insect drugs.A total of 146 drugs are involved in 17 gynecological diseases.Among them,90 commonly used drugs are included in the Chinese Medicine,involving 15 modern Chinese medicine efficacy classification.The number of tonifying deficiency drugs,clearing heat drugs and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis drugs are the largest.Ancient and modern taste and toxicity comparison finds 63 flavors of drugs,10 flavors of drug toxicity has changed.Some drugs in Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica have the effect of treating a variety of gynecological diseases,and can broaden the idea of drug selection according to syndrome differentiation.
