Analysis of the animal model of Sj?gren's syndrome based on the characteristics of clinical diagnosis and treatment in traditional Chinese and Western medicine
Based on the clinical diagnostic criteria and symptoms characteristic of Chinese and Western medicine in Sjögren's syndrome, the analysis explores the coincidence of commonly used animal models and clinical conditions, and clarifies their advantages and disadvantages. At present,Sjögren's syndrome animal models have been relatively independent research on all stages of the disease, among which adjuvant inducible and spontaneous animal models are most widely used and have the highest clinical anastomosis, but the clinical coincidence with TCM is generally low. These animal models can only partially display the immunological and clinical features of Sjögren's syndrome and do not cover the full spectrum of disease manifestations. In model evaluation, the pathological changes of submandibular glands were used as the main evaluation criteria, and there were still some differences from the pathological diagnostic criteria of clinical labial gland biopsy. Therefore, animal models of Sjögren's syndrome that are highly anastomotic with the clinical features of TCM and Western medicine still need to be further explored to promote the clinical treatment of this disease.
