Discussion on tonifying deficiency and tongluo method of traditional Chinese medicine in treating diabetic nephropathy from inhibiting abnormal angiogenesis
Abnormal angiogenesis is an important factor in the occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy(DN).Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the pathogenesis of DN abnormal angiogenesis is based on the deficiency of vital energy and marked by phlegm, blood stasis, turbid toxin.Based on the pathogenesis characteristics of DN,this paper discusses the understanding of abnormal angiogenesis of DN from perspective of tonifying deficiency and tongluo method in traditional Chinese medicine collateral disease theory, combs common related molecular targets, and summarizes the research status of important monomer-single herb-compound(herb pair)regulation of DN abnormal angiogenesis in recent years, which confirms that many Chinese medicine can inhibit DN angiogenesis through different ways and targets, providing a reference for further in-depth research on Chinese medicine's inhibition of abnormal angiogenesis of DN.
