Research on context of traditional Chinese medicine terminology translation:Current situation and prospect
This paper analyzes the previous studies on the context of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)terminology translation at home and abroad,and looks forward to the future research on this basis.The results show that:There are more and more relevant studies,but compared with the study of the essential attributes and internal rules of TCM terminology translation,the study of context is relatively weak;The research field has gradually expanded,but it is still fragmented,which makes it impossible to examine the context of TCM terminology translation as a whole;The research methods and perspectives are increasingly diversified,but the number of empirical research is small.The research from the perspectives of communication and sociology is still rare,lacking more systematic and holistic research methods and perspectives.In view of this,this article proposes to attach more importance on the contextual factors in TCM terminology translation,and to strengthen the systematic,holistic,and empirical nature of research.
