Objective:To investigate the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution distribution and difference characteristics of patients with uveitis during the onset period and static period,so as to provide reference for TCM clinical treatment of uveitis.Methods:A total of 124 patients with uveitis(including 61 patients of uveitis during the onset period and 63 patients during the static period)who were treated in ophthalmic clinic of Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected and compared the differences of TCM constitution with 122 healthy people in the same period.At the same time,the differences of TCM constitution between the patients during the onset period and the static period were compared.Results:The first two TCM constitutions of patients with uveitis were phlegm-dampness constitution and qi-deficiency constitution.Phlegm-dampness constitution was the first in the onset period,and qi-deficiency constitution was the first in the static period.All TCM constitutions of patients with uveitis were different from those of healthy people(P＜0.01,P＜0.05);There were significant differences in the gentleness constitution,yin-deficiency constitution,phlegm-dampness constitution,dampness-heat constitution and qi-stagnation constitution between patients with uveitis during the onset period and static period(P＜0.01,P＜0.05).Conclusion:There are more patients during the onset period with dampness-heat constitution and more patients during the static period with gentleness constitution.
