Analysis of five-tones and treatment of disease with five-tones
'Five-tones'is a word that beginners of traditional Chinese medicine will come into contact with.In the theory of five elements,it is associated with the viscera and meridians of the human body through the five elements. However, the guiding significance of five-tones to traditional Chinese medicine is not mentioned in undergraduate textbooks. With the rise of five-tones therapy in recent years, the connotation of five-tones has become more confusing, and the relationship between five-tones and temperament is a problem that researchers tend to ignore.Starting from Huangdi Neijing, this paper discusses the origin of the connotation of five-tones,clarifies the relationship between five-tones,six pitches and modes, and clarifies the diagnostic role of five-tones in Huangdi Neijing. At the same time, based on the analysis of the representative musical instruments in the Huangdi Neijing era,it is believed that part of the original text of Huangdi Neijing is related to the musical instrument playing techniques, but the simple five elements therapy has not formed a complete systematic theory, and the five-tones therapy needs to be combined with the emotion theory of traditional Chinese medicine to regulate emotions in order to achieve the purpose of treatment and health.
