Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine regulating intestinal flora in the treatment of Parkinson's disease
Parkinson's disease(PD)is the second most degenerative disease of the central nervous system, and its incidence is increasing year by year. Some studies believe that metabolic disorders and inflammatory responses caused by intestinal flora disorders can be transmitted to the brain through the microbial-gut-brain axis, which may lead to the onset of PD.At present,a large number of clinical studies have shown that the use of traditional Chinese medicine to regulate intestinal flora has multiple advantages in the treatment of PD,and can effectively improve the symptoms of PD patients without obvious side effects.By searching a large number of relevant literatures at home and abroad, the author explored the mechanism of intestinal flora affecting the pathogenesis of PD and the effect of traditional Chinese medicine on intestinal flora, and reviewed the latest progress of traditional Chinese medicine treating PD from the gut, with a view to providing references for PD related research and traditional Chinese medicine treatment of PD.
