Consideration on clinical research design of acupuncture in the treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency:From randomized controlled trial to real world study
Objective:To summarize, analyze and compare the existing clinical research designs of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency(POI),so as to provide ideas for finding a more scientific and feasible research design method. Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the literature was searched, the clinical studies were classified, and the research elements were extracted for summary analysis. Results:A total of 12 articles were included in the analysis, including 9 randomized controlled trials(RCT)and 3 real-world studies(RWS).The characteristics, advantages and problems of the two research methods were analyzed. Conclusion:The comprehensive use of RCT and RWS in clinical research can provide more scientific and powerful clinical evidence for acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of POI.
