Objective:To analyze the physiques distribution of patients with de novo Parkinson's disease(PD)and the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)physique and disease severity.Methods:The physique data,UPDRS-Ⅲ score,NMSQuest score and H-Y staging of 164 patients with de novo PD were collected by outpatient questionnaire.Chi-square test,rank sum test and Spearman correlation analysis were used to reveal the distribution of single physique,compounded physique,the relationship between physique and sex,and the correlation between physique and disease severity.Results:The top four abnormal physiques('Yes'and'tendency to be Yes')were yin deficiency(46.3％),qi deficiency(41.5％),qi stasis(31.7％)and yang deficiency(29.3％).Among abnormal physiques,the single physique had a small proportion,while the compounded physique had a large one.There was no difference in the distribution of 9 kinds of physique between men and women.The scores of yin deficiency,qi deficiency,qi stasis and phlegm-dampness physiques were positively correlated with the severity of disease,while the scores of peace physique was negatively correlated with the severity of disease.Conclusion:In patients with de novo PD,the most common types of physique were yin deficiency,qi deficiency,qi stagnation and yang deficiency,and most patients were compounded physiques.The scores of yin deficiency,qi deficiency,qi stasis and phlegm-dampness are closely and positively correlated with the severity of the disease.It should be noted that doctors pay more attention to patients with those four physiques in their outpatient services.
