New interpretation of the astronomical connotation of the 'Wu Qi Jing Tian'
This article attempts to explore the objectivity of the'Wu Qi Jing Tian'from an astronomical perspective. The article begins with an astrological simulation by the authoritative astronomical software Stellarium, and finds that the five stars in the sky on the dawn at winter solstice each year are quite consistent with the five stars corresponding to the Suiyun of the coming year as described in Huangdi Neijing, indicating that the winter solstice, dawn, was an important point in time for astronomical observations by Yunqi theory along the astronomical calendar. It is suggested that the five stars observed on the winter solstice are the objective astronomical basis for the'Wu Qi Jing Tian',which explains the astronomical meaning of the'Wu Qi Jing Tian'from a new perspective.
