Osthole is a natural coumarin extracted from Cnidii Fructus,which is one of its main monomeric active ingredients,with anti-inflammatory,analgesic,immunomodulating,anti-tumor,neuroprotective and other pharmacological effects,and has received wide attention in the field of anti-tumor in recent years.The study found that osthole can exert anti-tumor effects by inhibiting tumor cell proliferation,inducing tumor cell apoptosis,interfering with tumor cell cycle,inhibiting tumor cell invasion and migration,inducing tumor cell autophagy,inducing tumor cell pyrosis,regulating microRNA expression,increasing reactive oxygen species to induce tumor cell death,and synergistic sensitization to reverse tumor drug resistance,and has broad development and application prospects.This article systematically summarizes and concludes the relevant literature on the antitumor effect and mechanism of osthole in recent years,which provides a reference for further in-depth research,new drug development and clinical application.
