Analysis of animal model of nasopharyngeal carcinoma based on clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese and Western medicine
The incidence of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is the first among malignant tumors in the department of otolaryngology, with clinical manifestations including nasal congestion, bloody nose, tinnitus, double vision, headache and cervical lymph node enlargement,etc..Due to the hidden location of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the growth characteristics of tumor invasion and metastasis, most patients were diagnosed in the middle and late stages, delaying the best treatment opportunity. How to implement treatment as soon as possible and take effective preventive measures has become an urgent problem in the field of prevention and treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer.Experimental animals provide a good model for the pathogenesis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. This study summarized the varieties, characteristics and modeling methods of existing models by querying the database, and evaluated the coincidence. The results showed that the common modeling methods of nasopharyngeal carcinoma include local administration of chemical dinitropiperazine, infection with EB virus, and cell injection to induce cancer,etc..Most of them are based on the etiology and pathogenesis of Western medicine, which can only show part of the disease characteristics, which is different from the clinical multi-factor pathogenesis, and at the same time limit the relevant progress of traditional Chinese medicine prevention and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Therefore,it is necessary to improve the existing model, add Chinese medicine factors, and build an animal model based on the clinical characteristics of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,so that it is more suitable for clinical practice and conducive to the next step of disease mechanism research.
