Evaluation of the effects of reducing the south and reinforcing the north method on postmenopausal atherosclerosis disease based on four diagnostic objective information
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of reducing the south and reinforcing the north(RSRN)method on postmenopausal atherosclerosis based on modern traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)four diagnostic objective information.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria,96 patients with postmenopausal atherosclerosis(disease group)(treated by RSRN)and 38 healthy people(control group)were selected.The pulse conditions of control group were obtained.And the four diagnostic information of patients was collected by using the information collection form of four diagnosis of TCM,spectrophotometer CM-2600,TDA-1 small tongue image instrument,DDMX-100 single channel instrument.The information was then statistical analyzed.Social network analysis software UCINET was used to analyze the changes of patients'symptoms,tongue,and pulse characteristics before and after RSRN treatment.Results:The pulse indexes t1,h3,h3/h1,h4/h1,S,w in the disease group were significantly higher than those in the control group;h5,h5/h 1 were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After the treatment of RSRN,the clinical symptom information of patients was reduced.The facial color indexes and the overall brightness and chroma of the patient's facial color were significantly improved.The string Ⅳ and virtual string pulse significantly decreased,while string Ⅱ and wiry slippery pulse increased.The pulse parameters of t1,t5,w,w/t,h1,h5,h3/h1,h5/h 1 at week 7 were different from those at week 0,1,h5,h5/h 1 at week 7 were higher than those at week 0(P＜0.05).From 0 to 7 week,bright red tongue,white or yellow greasy coating of patients'tongue image were decreased,light red tongue with thin white coating were increased.The L value of tongue image at week 6 and 7 was higher than that at 0 and 1 week(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The RSRN method can improve the complexion,tongue,pulse,and clinical symptoms of postmenopausal atherosclerosis patients.Objective indicators of the four diagnostic methods of TCM can be used to evaluate the clinical treatment effect,to guide the clinical treatment of TCM.
