'Qi'is the core of Qigong theory.By consulting the relevant literature,the author concludes that the connotation of the'qi'of Qigong mainly includes three aspects:the philosophical connotation,the connotation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and the modern scientific connotation.Under the background of the'Qigong fever',the study of the modem scientific connotation of the'qi'of Qigong has become a hot topic.In the modern scientific research on the connotation of the'qi'of Qigong,the philosophical connotation and TCM connotation of the'qi'of Qigong cannot be ignored.Fully using scientific experimental methods to understand the concept of'qi'of Qigong,the conclusion will only be one-sided and untrue.Conforming to TCM thinking and philosophical cognition is a major prerequisite for conducting scientific research on the'qi'of Qigong.Based on this,the qi theory should be transformed into intuitive research methods and scientific indicators that can be obtained from an experimental research perspective.At the same time,based on understanding the concept and development of'qi',its philosophical background,and the TCM connotation,accurately grasp the concept and specific meaning of'qi'in different contexts,and use modem language to express it more accurately and intuitively.This paper systematically analyzes the philosophical connotation,TCM connotation and modern scientific connotation of the'qi'of Qigong and provides a reference for a comprehensive understanding of the'qi'of Qigong.
