Development of the Tibetan medicine constitutional self-assessment scale
Objective:To develop the Tibetan medicine self-assessment scale for constitutions indetification,in order to provide a convenient self-assessment tool the identification of Tibetan medicine constitutions.Methods:Firstly,a 45-item scale for the identification of constitution was developed based on the literature research of Four Medical Tantras,and based on the the reliability and the validity,the original items were optimized,and 35 items were selected and was determined as the final scale.Results:According to the three stages of investigation and analysis,the Tibetan medicine constitutional identification scale was finally divided into three sub-scales,rLung,Tripa and Béken,with a total of 35 items,involving three dimensions,such as body type,psychology and dietary preference.The Klonbach α coefficient of the scale was 0.731,reaching more than 0.7,indicating that the reliability of the scale was acceptable.The matching degree between the scale results and the expert evaluation results reached 86.7%-93.3%,indicating that the brightness validity of the scale was high.Conclusion:This scale is a pure health identification scale,which has obvious boundaries with the disease identification scale,and has a better theoretical and practical basis for judging health or physique.
