Efficacy observation on acupuncture treatment of postoperative abdominal distension after cesarean section
Objective:To observe the relief of abdominal distension after cesarean section treated by acupuncture.Methods:Seventy patients with abdominal distension after cesarean section who met the inclusion criteria from October 2021 to October 2023 in the obstetric department of Urumqi Youai Hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to the way of envelope extraction,with 35 cases in each group.The control group was given routine basic treatment,while the test group was given routine acupuncture+routine basic treatment.The degree of abdominal distension and the score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and the time of first exhaust and defecation was recorded.Results:The times of first anal exhaust and defecation in the test group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.01),and the difference between the score of abdominal distension degree and the score of TCM syndrome before and after treatment in the test group were statistically better than those in the control group(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment for abdominal distension patients after cesarean section can shorten the time of first exhaust and defecation,effectively improve the degree of abdominal distension,promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function,and also help to regulate the TCM constitution,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
