The purpose of this article is to clarify the true connotation of'mind'in the Huangdi Neijing.'Mind'is born of'pivot',and there is a high degree of correlation between the'pivot'and the'mind'.The'pivot'is the center of space,the point of time,the tangible engine which pivoting the invisible fire.The'mind'is bom in the pivot,in the harmony of the center,the change of the point,and the exquisite of the engine.The'mind'is kept in the center,and the changes are unpredictable,grows life ceaselessly.Nurturing the mind is based on harmony,gentle and movement.The treatment of mind is based on the center of qi,the point of time,the tangible trick,and the opening and closing of the whole body.Therefore,the'pivot'is the body of'mind','mind'is shaped'pivot'and upward.The researches of'pivot'will help to explore the connotation of'mind'.
