Nutritional support treatment and pharmacological monitoring in a young girl with leukemia complicated by intestinal obstruction in perioperative period
Participating in perioperative nutritional support of a girl with acute myeloid leukemia complicated by adhesive intes-tinal obstruction,clinical pharmacists cooperated with clinicians to develop a personalized nutritional protocol.The prescription of nutritional drugs was optimized according to the characteristics of postoperative short bowel syndrome,changes in nutritional parameters,liver function profiles and adverse reactions to parenteral nutritional drugs.Her conditions stabilized and liver injuries recovered through reasonable nutritional supports.Clinical pharmacists could effectively improve the clinical treatment effect dur-ing perioperative nutritionen and provide practical rationales for rational use of clinical drugs.
