Constructing an index system of core competency for evaluating hospital pharmacists during dispute resolutions
OBJECTIVE To construct an index system for evaluating core competence of hospital pharmacists during dispute resolutions and provide theoretical references for evaluating their related capabilities and curriculum designs.METHODS Based upon literature researches and expert group discussions,a preliminary indicator system was established. The indicator system was modified and improved by the Delphi method and weights assigned to each indicator with a precedence chart.Convenient sampling was employed for testing the reliability and validity of this indicator system.RESULTS A total of 33 inquiry experts were included, with an average age of(38.09±5.32)years and a working experience of(13.44±7.05)years.During reliability evalu-ations of experts, authority coefficients of two rounds of expert inquiry were both>0.7 and the effective recovery rates of ques-tionnaire distribution in both rounds were 100%.Kendall's W test results ranged from 0.301 to 0.570 and P-values of all indica-tors were<0.05.It implied that the reliability of consulting experts through correspondence was robust.Based upon the scoring results of consulting experts, modification opinions and working group discussions, the indicator system was ultimately determined to include four dimensions of communication capability, professional proficiency, practicality and humanistic caring, totaling 21 secondary indicators. After verifications, the indicator system yielded decent effectiveness and credibility.CONCLUSION The evaluation index system for evaluating core competence of hospital pharmacists during dispute resolutions offers excellent authority and scientific soundness, providing theoretical references for evaluating hospital pharmacists'dispute resolution capability and related training.
