Effects of Fuzheng Shengbai Decoction on Patients with Leukopenia After Chemotherapy for Small Cell Lung Cancer
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the effects of Fuzheng Shengbai decoction on leukocytes level and Karnofsky performance score(KPS)of patients with leukopenia after chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer.METHODS:Totally 120 patients after chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer(leukopenia after chemotherapy)admitted into Cangzhou Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Hebei University of Chinese Medicine from Jan.2020 to Mar.2021 were extracted to be divided into the observation group(60 cases,subcutaneous injection of recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor+Fuzheng Shengbai decoction)and control group(60 cases,subcutaneous injection of recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor)via the random number table method.The clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,white blood cell count,NEUT,absolute value of neutrophils and KPS score were compared between two groups.RESULTS:The total effective rate of observation group was 88.33%(53/60),higher than 70.00%(42/60)of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score decreased,white blood cell count,NEUT and KPS score increased in two groups after treatment;the above indicators in the observation group were better than those in the control group after treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Fuzheng Shengbai decoction can obviously increase the white blood cell count in patients with leukopenia after chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer,improve the clinical symptoms and KPS score.
